We’ve worked with Ian and IAQ services since 2020. Ian kindly helped us build the first Fire Damper Inspection and Kitchen Extract Inspection report templates for Flow Mobile Surveying, and he has been a customer since those very early days. The report templates we’ve built together are now used by dozens of ventilation hygiene companies around the UK, including BESA and NAADUK members.
In just five years, Ian’s company has grown from a few staff to over 20 staff. Ian credits this growth to a lot of hard work and having the right software in place to free up his engineer’s time. As a trusted partner, Ian now shares the word of Flow Mobile Surveying with other HVAC professionals with the goal of improving quality within the HVAC industry.
We first met Ian during an online demo of our product. Ian had discovered us online and wanted to solve the issue of report writing taking too long. Our demo was interrupted by a giant seagull wildly packing at our office window —that was a surreal and funny experience.
Since then, Ian has visited us in sunny Newcastle in several occasions. He appeared on our podcast, The Modern Compliance Podcast, and even sent Flow co-founder, Paul an indoor air quality monitor when he was concerned about indoor air quality in his home.
We get on well with Ian because we have a lot of shared interests and values, including business, health, and employee wellbeing. He wants to improve the compliance industry as much are we do.
Ian even commissioned a painting of The King Brothers after they created a bespoke report template for his business, putting him squarely at the top of our Christmas card list!
