Sending Samples to the Lab

During the survey, you may have collected samples to send to a UKAS-accredited lab for analysis.

When sending sample bags to the lab, it's often helpful to include a list of the samples you’ve taken and where you found them. Use the ‘Samples for Lab’ layout to create a list of samples taken during the survey.

Since the the Samples for Lab report will show all information relating to each sample, you can don't need to write as much on your sample bags, just some basic identifying information. Then send your samples and the Samples for Lab sheet to the lab together, saving some time.
