When working in secure locations such as prisons or hard-to-access areas, you may need to take photos with external USB cameras.

So you may be wondering whether external cameras work with the Flow Mobile Surveying app.

Unfortunately external cameras tend to use their own proprietary software, so they won't work with our app.

However, as a workaround you could always take photos using the USB Camera app, then upload them into the Flow Mobile Surveying app. This will require switching between the two apps, so it may not be practical, but could be helpful if you only need to work in this way infrequently
