Ventilation Hygiene Specialists (VHS) provides services in the ventilation hygiene sector.
Before using Flow Mobile Surveying, the VHS team used a combination of premade Excel lists and Microsoft Word templates to create fire damper inspection reports.
They also took before and after photographs to demonstrate the quality of their work. One of the most time-consuming tasks was importing and lining up images so they looked good on reports.
We quickly created a trial account for Ventilation Hygiene Services. We added our default Fire Damper Inspection template then made some tweaks to match Martin's process.
Thinking back to his old report-writing methods, here's what Martin had to say about the switch to Flow Mobile Surveying:

He explained that clients loved the reports too:
"Clients loved the way the reports were presented. We didn't even have to ask for opinions. People were coming to us and saying 'What You've Sent us is Perfect'."
Martin says that one of the biggest advantages of creating Fire Damper Inspection reports with Flow Mobile Surveying is that most of the report-writing work is now done on-site.
Martin says the bigger the project, the more time saved.
"We surveyed a hospital in London in 2021. The site work took seven weeks. It took me a whole week just to input photographs.
When I went back in 2023 and used Flow, there was none of that. It took me probably half a day to tidy the report up. So we saved about four and a half days saved in office time, which we could spend on customer sites."
